USA Volleyball has recently seen significant leadership changes, as longtime men’s head coach John Speraw stepped down to become President and CEO. Speraw, who has been involved with USA Volleyball for over 20 years, served as an assistant coach during the 2008 Olympic gold-medal run and led the U.S. men’s team to bronze medals in 2016 and 2024 as head coach. After a distinguished coaching career, Speraw is now committed to making a broader impact on the sport in his new role at the organizational level.
